Panamac TR25-TR70 – TR100 – TR125 orbital cutting heads feature:

  • Tool drive with 2 or 4 slides, completely mechanical (patented), controlled by a brushless motor, which allows full stroke management, forward movement, increments and decrements during cutting, via electric microprocessor with controls and Touch-Screen display.
  • Hydraulic pipe lock clamp, with bracing clamping inserts to hold the pipe in place and quickly interchangeable.
  • Tool rotation control operated by an asynchronous motor via vectorial inverter.
  • Hydraulically driven outer clamp unit featuring quickly interchangeable clamping inserts of the bracing type.
  • Autonomous internal beveling unit driven by a variable speed motor with pneumatically controlled tilt device, internal chamfer depth managed by brushless motor with ball screw.

The PANAMAC TR25-TR70-TR100-TR125 cutting heads, on demand, can be equipped with a set of special devices, such as:

- PIPE BLOWING DEVICE that allows perfect cleaning of residues.

- BAR-STOPPER UNIT pneumatically operated and with manual setting or, on request, an electronic axis which allows the operator to set various lengths on the same bar, in order to streamline production, minimising bar waste (heads/tails). For the same purpose, 2 limit stop units with manual setting can be installed.

- DISCHARGING DEVICE consisting of 2 roller units with variable tilt (instantly adjustable), which allow ideal pipe support and offer the possibility of discharging from both sides, so that operators can choose 2 different lengths in production.

- ROLLER FEED SYSTEM with pneumatic lock, driven by an asynchronous motor via inverter; it allows fast and precise in-feed with no need for adjustments when changing the diameter or length. It is also equipped with bar-end reading device via encoder.

- AUTOMATIC LOADER designed and manufactured to allow an adequate system of automatic interlocking, quiet and efficient, because of its standalone feed system. The modularity of construction also allows the operator to optimise it depending on the required lengths.

Several cutting line versions are available:

D for cutting by means of continuous rim discs that allow a fast cutting sequence with no swarf.
U for cutting with the use of cutting tools that remove any swarf. The system performs high quality cuts in terms of finish, flatness and perpendicularity.
Both for cutting and inner and outer beveling of the pipe.
T for pipe machining (inner and outer beveling, boring, flattening, length finishing, etc.) by means of a transfer system with turntable that allows for the execution of multiple processes simultaneously.
